In the open beta for Diablo 4, the ability to learn how to summon golems is unlocked for necromancers once they have reached level 25. The abilities that come with each class are distinct from one another; for example, necromancers have their Book of the Dead, which allows them to summon dead allies to fight alongside them; sorcerers are able to cast enchantments; and barbarians have the ability to switch between different types of weapons.
Even though the full version of Diablo 4 won't be released until June, you still have time to educate yourself on the various factors that could potentially slow down your leveling before that time comes. For example, using waypoints (opens in new tab) can significantly increase the speed at which one can navigate within the map. If you want to avoid getting stuck trying to figure out how to summon golems in Diablo 4, then this is the information you need to know if you decide to play as a necromancer in the game.
The necromancer's guide to the summoning of golems in Diablo 4After your necromancer reaches level 25, a new task will be added to the priority quests section of your quest log. To access this section, click the second tab located at the top of the window. The quest is called Necromancer: Call of the Underworld, and if you want to find the location on the map more easily, you can just follow the quest's instructions.
If you travel to the map marker that is located to the northwest of Menestad, you will have the opportunity to come across the Shrine of Rathma and an NPC named Maltorius close to the Altar of Lilith
Talk to Maltorius if you want to move on to the next phase, which requires you to collect 12 bones in their unbroken state

After you have collected the required 12, make your way back to the altar and speak with Maltorius
Now he will give you instructions on how to locate a vile relic that is concealed in the area. The exact location of the cave entrance is shown in the screenshot that can be found below. After entering the cave, look for the Jar of Souls, which is essentially a large statue, and speak with it. It will give you information about the cave. After that, you should start destroying your enemies so that your golem can collect souls to use as fuel for it. If you look at the progress meter that's located under the task, you'll be able to tell how far along you are. When you are finished, Maltorius will appear next to the Jar of Souls, which will now be full, and he will request that you say a few things back to him.
Once the mission has been completed, you can access the Skill Assignment option by pressing S. This will allow you to call upon your newly acquired golem. The new golem skill should be at the very bottom of the list; to add it to your active skill bar, drag it to the appropriate slot and drop it there. Because of this, an instantaneous summoning of your new golem will take place, and its active ability will instruct it to taunt enemies and reduce the damage it takes for the next six seconds.
