Lost Ark Founder’s Packs Details and Which to Choose

Wondering which Lost Ark Founder’s Pack to chose? This guide will explain the contents of each one, how they benefit you and which to choose!

With Lost Ark launching soon, now’s a good time to talk about the Founder’s Packs and the benefits they can provide to both your leveling experience as well as your post-cap gameplay. This Guide breaks down the packs that are available, what they offer, and which packs you should consider if you’re undecided but plan to get one.

Lost Ark launches with four tiers of Founder’s Packs. These range from the basic Bronze Pack, all the way up to the Platinum Pack which has a ton of useful items and some exclusive goodies.

Please Note: According to the recent Lost Ark Launch Details, Founder’s Packs will be discontinued at 9AM Pacific Time, February 11th. This occurs the exact time Lost Ark is set to go fully live, so you can only get them prior to launch..

Bronze Founder’s Pack.

Starting off with the Bronze Founder Pack, we get a few interesting items. Most notably among them is the 30 Days of Crystalline Aura, which provides a lot of gameplay benefits. Alongside this is Head Start Access, letting you get in on February 8th instead of the 11th. Finally, there’s the Founder’s Exclusive Title and Pet.

Personally, if you’re excited about the game the extra 3 day headstart can help you get some time in before the servers end up packed. They’ll likely still be pretty crowded after launch, but this at the very least can let you get away from the starting zones which will be flooded come launch day. You’ll only be alongside other players that also picked up a Founder’s Pack. So hopefully, fewer stability issues, even though there were very few in the Beta.

The Founder’s Exclusive Pet isn’t a big deal, as it’s like any other pet in the game meaning it collects loot for you. There’s also an early game quest that you can complete Lost Ark Gold that teaches you about pets, and give you a free pet that will do just as fine. Don’t let this be a deciding factor in your purchase if you’re on the fence. If you’d prefer your pet to be a cat, then by all means you can also get a Founder’s Pack for that reason.

Titles earned in-game often give minor stat boosts, but being founder exclusive it doesn’t seem likely this one will. Even if it does, it’ll be a very minor boost like any other title with plenty of titles that offer equal or better boosts.

Finally, the big one is Crystalline Aura. Crystalline Aura is the game’s pay-in premium benefits or subscription-like service. In general, it offers many benefits to traveling around. This includes things like a Triport Cost Waiver, letting you move around most continents and islands quickly; A Discount on using Liners, which help with exploring a bit early on; and the additional Bifrost locations, which lets you set two additional locations you can teleport to as desired.

In addition to travel benefits, there are things that boost your daily activities related to your stronghold, crafting, and NPC Affinity. Reduction to Stronghold Craft Time, Dispatch Time, and an increase to Stronghold Energy Recovery speeds all make it easier to get more out of interacting with your strongholds. Then there’s the bonus to Life Energy Recovery, which affects how quickly you can level Life Skills. The Daily NPC Affinity Interaction can let you boost your Rapport with certain NPCs quickly, and get some extra rewards from them.

The Extra bit of paid Currency is nice, and you can use it to buy anything you’d like from the Cash Shop. I’d personally save it for cosmetics, as there’s not too much reason to get much else from the Cash Shop. That is unless you want to play the game hardcore and run several secondary characters, then Character Slots may be appealing.

The Silver Supply Crate contains 8 separate items: 30 Resurrection Feathers, 10,000 Silver, Adventurer’s Equipment Crate, Gatherer’s Tool Chest, and the Adventurer’s Ascent chests for levels 20, 30, 40, and 50.

Ressurection Feathers allow you simply respawn where you died, instead of warping to a pre-defined area on the map. The Equipment Crate contains a bunch of consumables, these are often saved for the endgame content where they have the most uses and shouldn’t be used early. The Gatherer’s Tool Chest contains a basic set of tools, which will allow you to do Life Skilling right away.

The Adventurer’s Ascent Chest contains potions and some additional Silver. The biggest note with the Health potions is that you should never use the health potions that heal for a percentage before the level cap. These potions are the only ones that are usable for the game’s harder content and are often best saved for those reasons. The Level 50 Chest also contains a few additional buy Lost Ark Gold boxes with extra consumables that are also more useful to endgame content.
