Five Nights at Freddy's is a series of terrifying video games in which the player is a nighttime security guard at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, a family restaurant and arcade. Warner Bros. has acquired the rights to produce a film based on the book.
In 2014, the first game in the Five Nights at Freddy's unblocked series was released, marking the series' inception. In total, thirteen FNAF games have been released since then. There are nine stories that are more normal, and four that are spin-offs. Over the course of these thirteen games, players have had the opportunity to learn a substantial amount of lore about the world outside of the animatronics and surveillance cameras.
